It has been 2 years since Doo-rim left and Gang-joo receives the “Good Entrepreneur of the Year” award. He has developed into a charismatic entrepreneur who appreciates each and every one of his employees. Gang-joo wears his wedding ring and awaits Doo-rim’s return. Yi-gyeong has recovered and Jae-ran has been admitted at a nursing home for a mental illness. Gang-joo follows every tip-off of Doo-rim’s whereabouts but hasn’t had any luck so far. He visits a beach in search of Doo-rim but is about to give up thinking it’s another wrong tip when a skein of red yarn rolls towards him. He looks up to find Doo-rim standing in front of him. They finally reunite after years of waiting. Soon-bok reveals a shoe to Il-do and Myeong-hee. Soon-bok was actually the very first bride who married into Gang-joo’s family. She wasn’t sacrificed to the god on their wedding night. She eloped with her lover. Gang-joo places the shoe with its pair in front of the guest house. Like the shoe that finally found its pair, Gang-joo and Doo-rim gets back together and proclaim their love to the god. Finally, the bride of the century is born. They live happily ever after.
