Drug lord, Balwant Rai (Amrish Puri), tricks an innocent law-abiding man, Ashok (Raj Babbar) into partnering with him, and uses his business to further his illegal drug dealings. When Ashok resists the man’s attempt to poison his undertaking, Balwant gets rid of him and frames Ashok’s younger brother, Ajay (Sunny Deol) for the murder. Ajay tries to prove his innocence but soon loses faith in the justice system when he’s convicted. In jail, he befriends three kind-hearted men who help him break out of prison.
