The Hindi dubbed movie The Monkey King 2 storyline revolves around the monkey king Sun Wukong who is trapped under the Five Fingers mountain and is then rescued by a young monk tang Sanzanng after 500 years. Sanzang, the young monk, is set out on a journey to India to collect some sacred scriptures, and Wukong decides to go along with him and be his protector from an evil demon in pursuit of immorality. On the way, the duo meets Zhu Ba Jie and Sha Wu Jing who also accompany the monk in his travels.
